Halloween is the season when many yards are decorated with spooky ghouls, vampires, and goblins, and children come to our doors dressed in costumes as trick-or-treaters. But is Halloween just an innocent, harmless holiday, or is there something more nefarious at work? It almost seems as if Halloween was designed to convince us that the dead aren’t really dead, that they somehow live on in some form.
